I have always been passionate about antique furniture, objects rich in history, and everything that deserves a second life. For fourteen years, I worked as a veterinary nurse. It was a profession I truly loved, one that taught me patience, precision, and the importance of caring for others. Yet, another passion was quietly growing. The real turning point came while planning my wedding. We wanted to create a setting that reflected who we are: authentic, warm, and filled with meaningful, timeless pieces. We spent time searching for, restoring, and transforming old furniture. That was the moment I realized how much I loved bringing wood back to life and creating with my own hands. What began as a personal project soon became an obvious calling. Today, through L'Âme du Temps, my goal is to preserve the charm of antique furniture while giving each piece a new life. Every restoration is carried out with care, patience, and respect, ensuring that the soul and character of each piece are preserved. Through this journal, I'll be sharing behind-the-scenes moments from my workshop, my restoration projects, practical advice, and everything that brings this wonderful journey to life.
